Village Discipleship
Consistent with Christ’s example of going into His world to visit with and minister to those He found in need, we have a deliberate ministry of inviting villagers to the Hill to receive fellowship and prayer as well as going out to visit widows, the elderly, and families. Every day, women and their children come to draw clean water at our well. Often this becomes a time of fellowship and opportunity for us to share Jesus and praise God for all His provisions – especially healthy drinking water.
This front-line work, empowered by the Holy Spirit and fashioned after the humble ministry of Jesus has opened lots of doors among our neighbors. It has brought many to join our family of believers over the years. We are daily involved in food aid for struggling families, the sick, people with disabilities, the elderly, and village pastors.
The eyes of all look to you in hope; you give them their food as they need it. - Psalm 145:15
